I'm Anne Sophie van Riel, a Dutch violist performing on both historical and modern instruments. I regularly appear on stage with renowned period ensembles, including the Freiburger Barockorchester and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, where I’ve been a member since 2024. Alongside this, I’m passionate about chamber music and work frequently as principal violist with chamber orchestras and other ensembles across Europe.
